I tried ground for Joltik, and it didn't react at all.

This could be very helpful info for battling a Shedinja. Nothing else will hurt it. And yeah Mandibuzz is one I, even now, still forget its name sometimes. Not common plus I have the game its not even in.

Almost forgot that Riolu isn't part Steel until he evolves. Caught myself right before hitting the "d" in "Ground."

Maybe you shouldn't put the levitate hint on Haunter to challenge us more.

Also try Pokemon Weaknesses 'Minefield' 3. It'll be the last one of these.

Haunter is totally weak against ground. It's ghost/poison. The poison part makes it weak against ground! (at least in red/blue/yellow; if you're only referring to a certain edition, specify that)

All quizzes on Sporcle, unless otherwise specified, always refer to the most modern version of Pokemon. Since Haunter has had Levitate since Generation 3, Ground is not super-effective of it.

No, ice isn't very effective against fire though it is against flying so it's just neutral.

In Generation I (Red/Blue/Yellow), Fire was not resistant to Ice, so both Charizard and Moltres were weak to Ice. However, in Generation II, Fire gained an Ice resistance so Charizard/Moltres (and now Ho-Oh) would only be hit neutrally.
