This is confusing as to what you want. You say you want the Grand Slam finalists and since there are 4 Grand Slam events each year, there would be 8 finalists for each year (the two players involved in the final). But you only have 4 players listed for each year and it appears you've listed only the player who lost in the final. If you only want the names of the runners-up, you need to specify that.

please allow some variations on the surnames - e.g. schuettler i've seen spelt schuttler (there is an umhalt over the u). also allowing last names only would be a big improvement on this quiz. not only did i have to work out how to spell kafelnikov (for example) but i then had to work out yevgeny too. i gave up on some when i'd only entered the last name as i thought i had them wrong.

Only the losing finalists because there is already a Sporcle quiz for Grand Slam Champions. Also, I do not know how to program variety into the spelling variations - sorry about that; I do realize it is not ideal.

David is is fine to have a quiz on the runners-up, but you need to specify that in the title and instructions. Rename it as "Can you name the Men's Tennis Grand Slam Finals losers 2000-2011 and insert a note that you are looking for the players that reached the finals but lost. Right now it appears that you are seeking the names of both finalists in each event.

Ah, Martin Verkerk. How the hell he ever made a slam final is beyond me. And then Mariano Puerta, the doping scum who deprived Nikolay Davydenko of his first (and best) chance for a slam final which may have changed his career entirely around in a good way. He may even have won the title, because he was looking great on the clay that year and I think already beat Nadal on that surface.

Terrible Quiz. If you want full names, accept Andrew Roddick and the like. And if you want Juan Carlos Ferrero, why don't you accept Andre Kirk Agassi? And why do you accept Soderling (instead of Söderling) but not Schuttler instead of Schüttler?
