Alas. I was really hoping to get a perfect score on at least one of the series. No such luck. And I liked Unbreakable; just none of his movies after that.
May 24th, 2010 at 04:48 GMT
Another great one Phalanx. I think it's spelled Chaney though and it was Jr.

@DarkPhalanx, 'A View to a Kill' and 'You've Got Mail' clues were great. It looks like the last word of the Zoolander clue has one letter too many. And I agree with kthxbai, who was Unbreakable unpopular with?
Also, props for including 'Waiting for Guffman' even if it is the least guessed.
May 24th, 2010 at 13:48 GMT
Why in the heck would you put yellow font on bright blue background? That is painful on the eyes.
May 24th, 2010 at 14:08 GMT
Thanks LTH: changed that extra "l". Unbreakable only scored a 55% with the top critics on RottenTomatoes, and was perceived as a let-down by many after The Sixth Sense. You're certainly allowed to like it though :)
May 24th, 2010 at 14:09 GMT
Oh and Mr. Negative, I know it's your job to be negative and all, but this is quiz number 18 in the series and you're the first person to complain about the color scheme, so I'm going to assume your feelings are an aberration.
May 24th, 2010 at 14:18 GMT
Ah the Warriors. Prob the best film up there. And Dark Knight has prob caught up to Usual Suspects as a sporcle movie quiz answer.
May 24th, 2010 at 15:00 GMT
Great series! I might describe Watchmen as more "super-antihero" than "anti-superhero".

unbreakable is relatively popular :/
May 25th, 2010 at 18:39 GMT
@DaHumorist: there'll be one more in this series, and then I'll have to think of some new thing to occupy my love of film
May 25th, 2010 at 22:10 GMT
looking forward to seeing what it is
May 26th, 2010 at 23:40 GMT
No Who Framed Roger Rabbit? Good quiz anyways
Jun 22nd, 2010 at 20:31 GMT
Another great quiz - absolutely criminal that White Heat is the least answered. My second favorite Cagney film after Yankee Doodle Dandy, which now that I think about it would have been a fine addition.
Jun 27th, 2010 at 16:28 GMT
usual suspects needs a better clue. and either alphabetize it or not
Jul 3rd, 2010 at 12:53 GMT
If I alphabetize it that makes it a little too easy, so no thanks wbutler
Jul 26th, 2010 at 14:32 GMT
The last "Z" movie has a shortened promotional title because the studio thought they couldn't market the part after the two names in the title (how's that for nearly as cryptic as your clues?!). You might accept that as an answer. Sad to have finished your last of these (I think). Wish you'd do a sequel series. :)
