1950: I think the title is "Sunset Boulevard"...consider accepting that spelling. 1956: Consider accepting "eighty" spelled out

Kubrick never got the respect he deserved. But at least Spartacus made the list. Probably because of the star studded cast.

Can you name the winners of the Golden Globe for Best Picture (Drama)? A new study confirms that, no, I can not.

The Golden Globes may be the poor man's Oscars, but they did prove to be nearly as good at snubbing Martin Scorsese (and unlike when the Oscars finally caved, the Globes did it in a year where the Scorsese flick was undeserving).

This is a list that definitely should have used hints. A couple of cast members or the directors. Anything other than blind guessing.

I would definitely love to see some type of hint. Nothing too obvious, but maybe a director name? It wouldn't be as easy as, say, leading actor, but at least it would give us something to work with when trying to fill in the gaps.

Can someone explain how the Globe and Academy voters thought Dances With Wolves was better than Goodfellas?

Uh, because it's an absolutely beautiful, extraordinarily moving film in its own right? It's not one or the other, people. It's actually okay to recognize both as excellent films - believe it or not.

Going My Way is a drama? I would have thought it would be in the Comedy/Musical category...

How is "Around the World in Eighty Days" a drama? Also, I would probably classify "Forrest Gump" a comedy as well, although it does have dramatic elements.
