The Montreal Expos/Washington Nationals have a .431 winning percentage since the beginning of the 2000 season. Same franchise, they just changed their name when they relocated.

elendil, according to my calculations the Expos/Nationals had a .439 winning percentage from 2000-2009. I double checked and got the same result. I noticed you said "since the beginning of the 2000 season," but this is only for the years 2000-2009, perhaps that explains the discrepancy?

This should be two different quizzes. I did it twice, once for the winners and once for the losers and still didnt have enough time to complete each side.

The 2005 White Sox went 99-63, good for a .611 winning percentage. Yet they are not on the list...

maggsmaggs, this quiz is about cumulative winning percentages for the entire decade of the 2000s, not individual seasons.

The Phillies were pretty mediocre until '07 and their record is dragged down by a 97 loss season in '00. Their winning % for the decade was .525

My first thought was, no way the Stars have higher winning percentage in 2000s than Red Wings. So I looked it up, and I think those two percentages are way off.

Might wanna check the Canucks percentage. i think they should be here. i love how if the M's hadn't won 116 games they'd easily be here

For the NHL, are you using winning percentage (ties being worth half a win prior to the elimination of ties) or points percentage? The fact that the NHL changed the point system in the middle of the decade probably makes it messy whichever way you choose to do it.
