The problem with this is that there are often dozens of possible alternate answers: Come Home, for example. Also, I don't know where you are from, but in the U.S., Chair and Lair rhyme. And while Night and Eight technically fit your definition, they have different final vowel combinations - so they shouldn't rhyme.

Agree with demonstah, and would add that 'good' and 'stood' are also rhyming words in the US.

I'd add "goes" and "aloes" to the answer for "shoes"; "steak" for the answer to "leak"; and "brood" to the answer for "good" (I'm sure there are many possible others too). To support demonstrah, I'd say that 'chair' and 'lair' certainly also rhyme in the UK; as do 'good' and 'stood'.

Good and stood rhyme, so do chair and lair, therefore this quiz is rubbish.

I gave up after trying "brood" for the first one and not having it accepted.

Research somewhere or don't bother. I tried there, chow, tomb, lead, brow... Don't expect folks to do all of the work for you.

Googlebird is right, DannyG: if you're not going to post an accurate quiz, don't post one at all. Bread, womb, heath, beneath, where...

I'm trying, I'm trying. The thing is that some words don't even rhyme with the answer word... like... comb, bomb and womb don't rhyme at all together, and I've tried to aviod using words like lead because they have two pronounciations. Bread's already there.

I think for "Chose" you could use words like close (as in "close call") because the s in chose has a z sound. Nice quiz!

there are hundreds of alternate answers, and loads of them rhyme in some accents but not in others (ie. N. England vs. S. England). Stupid.

I would add "move" (for "cove"). Interesting quiz, though!

Nice try, but probably too difficult to make it work really well. Also accept "Head" for knead, and "Wind (verb)" for Wind (noun).

A valiant effort. It looks like you've added a lot of the suggestions above already. Only one I have: "how" for the "know" clue.

@asatria, grows doesn't end in -oes. The word has to have the same ending as the given word. So grows shouldn't be on here.
