OK, I'll bite, how is Alaska the "eastest" state? FYI, that's northernmost, easternmost, westernmost and southernmost...

@sporclover-some people say alaska's the easternmost state because part of its in the eastern hemisphere. i disagree with that-maine is the easternmost state plain and simple

Part of Alaska is West of 180° longitude, but that's a gimmicky trivia "fact" alone the lines of "who was the first president of America?" The International Date Line is specifically drawn around it, and by any practical definition it's not "East" of Maine.

I mean, technically the space right next to you right now towards east is also west of you if you were to go around the Earth. It's subjective to say which is furthest east. I thought it was easy for this quiz only because I had a hunch where he was going with it.
