Then I do not understand the purpose of the quiz. It is impossible to translate these words : glace for instance is translated as "ice", "ice cream" or even miror! also "est ce que" is a French way to ask a question, it cannot be tranlated literaly. tu fais can be translated as "you are making", "you are doing", "you do", "you make", etc.. that is just my point of view

i agree with kobayashi68. moreover, 'que' doesn't mean 'that' in the same sense as 'that ice-cream'. it's not possible as a demonstrative pronoun.

"avec qui est-ce que tu fais CETTE glace" is the only way this could possibly make grammatical sense, and even then, it's just weird. but no offense, if you're only in 8th grade french, why are you even making a quiz about it?

From one Dan to another, it's a good effort, but our friends who posted above are all correct, I'm afraid.

Well, since Sporcle isn't really meant for quizzes with more than one right answer, you'd probably have to choose words with really specific meanings so there's little room for debate. Of course, this would mean you'd have to do a vocabulary list rather than a sentence, but there's rarely a single right way to translate a whole sentence. (Who are you making this ice cream with? With whom are you making this mirror? etc.) There could be dozens. Better to go with something a little more black-and-white, know what I mean?

Sure, look at any of the published French quizzes. There's colors, food, animals, days, months, body parts, family, numbers, time...
