| This quiz has been attempted so many times, and every initial format gets down rated due to oversights. As Sjoerd has said, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Denmark are missing, as darthconnie says, France is missing. You are also missing Yemen (Socotra is in Africa), Colombia (has some islands in North America) and arguably Panama, Italy and Iceland. Armenia, Cyprus and Timor-Leste could be considered bonus answers since they can be argued to be in two continents but never divided between them. I'd argue against the inclusion of Chile unless you were going to say S.America + Oceania (Easter Island). Very few countries recognise claims in Antarctica and the Antarctic treaty prevents further claims being made. I'd also argue against including the UK (which you haven't, but has been suggested) because UK territories are not integral to the UK the same way that French Guiana (and others) are into France. There's probably some more that I've missed. |
