	This is wrong. I don't know what your source is but I am Romanian and I can tell you that Romania has never been a part of any of the empires above. For a few centuries some regions of it (Valachia and Moldavia, so never Transylvania) were vassals of the Ottoman empire, but never part of it. As I was saying, never in the Hunnic or Mongol (do you know where Romania is?). Please fix this.

	It's notoriously difficult when you're comparing present day borders to ancient empires. I'm not sure if the Mongols ruled into Romania (certainly in Ukraine, and also in Hungary), and so it is quite possible. However, you can solve this simply by saying 'the modern countries where part of them were once part of these empires', i.e. specify part, rather than the whole. Also, don't use Wikipedia as a source! Their maps a waay out, especially the Hunnic Empire one. Wikipedia always seems to exaggerate things. Try and find a source from a university website or something.

	The Ottoman Empire controlled the whole Black Sea, so it also includes a part of Romania (the Danube flows into the Black Sea in Romania). Some sources stop at the border between Ukraine/Moldova and Romania for the Mongol Empire, though others include Romania (and not just a small part) and Atilla conquered a big part of Romania. Thanks for the rating of one sporcle globe anyway.

	@Joebobs: I used different sources on all of these empires. I did pick these empires from a list on Wikipedia, but I won't use Wikipedia as my only source, (though I will use it when it is helpful). I also check my information in multiple languages (I speak 3 languages good enough to understand what is written). If the Hunnic Empire map on Wikipedia is way out, check one of these, they're even bigger. 	I would add USA to the list since the Aleutians were occupied under the Japanese empire.

	Good point, @canuckster19, at least as a bonus. I thought this quiz was great, my failings and the Romania issue notwithstanding. I, for one, never type in Bulgaria in a Sporcle geography quiz without trying Romania too.

	Portions of Romania were absolutely under Ottoman control....up until the Hapsburgs forced them out around 1700. It may have had a slight bit of autonomy...but the Ottomans were controling it.

	In this quiz I would suggest that Romania was part of the Ottoman empire, or at least parts. We are speaking of Empires here, so if parts of Romania were Ottoman vassal states, Romania was a part of the empire.
