| @chewgoo: According to the Census Bureau's figures, Miami didn't even make the Top 100 until 1930 when it had 110,637 people. In the 1920 Census, Miami's population was 29,549 and the minimum to make the Top 100 was 70,983. (The city itself was only incorporated in 1896.) Presumably, the city has placed in the Top 100 in each Census since then (I haven't actually checked the Census Bureau's website that thoroughly) but that would mean it's only been on 9 lists, and the quiz's lowest count was 15. |
