Of course, a "triple-double" is a basketball term, but here, it means a game in which an MLB player hits at least one double and at least one triple. Hall of Famers are denoted by an asterisk (*).
A player's primary team is the one on which he played the most games. Years listed are the first and last of the player's entire career. 1918 is the early end of the range of seasons covered here because Retrosheet data only goes back that far.

	Hmm... unfortunately, the spread of results for this quiz is rather skewed -- only 11 of the 38 players have been guessed more than half the time. I generally go for roughly an even split between answers guessed more than 50 percent of the time and those less than 50 percent. Any suggestions as to how I could make this easier? I could add more time. I could also denote which players are Hall of Famers, though the majority (28 out of 38) of the players here are in fact HOFers.

	Both of those suggestions are good. Also, have you tried baseball reference's play index for this type of quiz? I don't know if it has the ability to sort the data this way, but it would at least let you go back beyond 1918, which I think is kind of a liability for this quiz. I really like this quiz because it's not populated solely by the names you automatically think of--even many of the HOFers are among those typically less remembered.

	@ianmez: Actually, the Baseball Reference Play Index only goes back to 1919.

	@ianmez: Thanks for the suggestion, but Sinatra is right. Baseball Reference doesn't have any information more detailed than Retrosheet. BB-Ref actually draws a lot of its data from Retrosheet, including the play-by-play accounts. -- @Steve: Vosmik was the only name which turned up on the list that I had never heard of before.

	OK, I upped the time to 7 minutes and asterisked the HOFers. (There's so many HOFers that it might have been better to asterisk the non-HOFers....)

	I had no idea the play index didn't go back that far :/ I probably should have known that since I like using it so often. But that makes perfect sense--I sort of wondered why you didn't use it. Not sure why I was under the impression it went back to at least 1901!
