Name the players with the most total WAR (offensive + defensive + pitching) for each franchise in each decade. Quiz includes all current AL franchises as well as the Brewers (originally in the AL).
The decades used here run from 1 to 0 (e.g., 1921-1930) rather than 0 to 9 (e.g., 1920-1929). The best player for a franchise in a decade in which the franchise played fewer than 7 seasons is included as a bonus answer. The Yankees franchise includes the 1901-02 Baltimore Orioles, the Browns-Orioles franchise includes the 1901 Milwaukee Brewers, and the Brewers franchise includes the 1969 Seattle Pilots. Data is from Baseball Reference.
