| Guess Your Country quizzes include the standard 195 Sporcle countries, as used in the Countries of the World quiz (http://www.sporcle.com/games/world.php). This includes the 192 UN member states as well as Kosovo, Taiwan, and Vatican City. Overseas dependencies which are integral parts of a country are included in the appropriate quiz based on geography, but were not given priority in the question sequence. These include the French dependencies in the Americas (French Guiana, Guadeloupe, Martinique) and Africa (Reunion); the Portuguese dependency Madeira in Africa; and the Spanish dependencies in Africa (Canary Islands, Ceuta, Melilla). Disputed states other than the 195 standard countries are treated here as part of the country whose sovereignty over the disputed state is questionable. Western Sahara is considered here as part of Morocco, Palestine as part of Israel, Tibet as part of China, etc. |
