Good quiz, but I wouldn't consider Phione to be a legendary. You just can't aquire it without Manaphy's help.

Bonus answers like Rotom and Spiritomb do not have visible text. Otherwise, great quiz!

Thanks for the comments! I added one extra minute, but I can't get the invisible text right... I'll check it out again tomorrow first thing in the morning. According to the FAQ, I did everything right... And Phione is a legendary according to pokemon.com: http://www.pokemon.com/#mailbag_02042008 ; It's the fourth question from the top.

Cool quiz, and lovin' the bonuses. But could we be looking at even more legendaries for generation 5? They really need to cut down on the numbers, as they're ending up with stuff like Heatran.

Zapdos is the coolest pokemon in the history of the game. Mewtwo...close second.

ah, a well-done quiz that nicely illustrates the over-saturation of legendaries. i think we have more legendaries at this point than we do actual pokemon. i mean, seriously. heatran.

How could a quiz on legendary pokemon not include Arcanine? Pokedex says he's The Legendary Pokemon. I understand what you're going for, but I'd say he's at least a bonus answer, especially if Unown made it in there as well. Excellent quiz nonetheless.

No no, you've misunderstood me: He's not legendary in the sense that you can only get one, or that he requires a special event, or that he cannot breed. None of that applies to Arcanine. I said he deserves a bonus answer spot because his pokedex species is "The Legendary Pokemon." Like how Pikachu is the mouse pokemon and such. The source for this quiz is Bulbapedia, right? You can even look it up there, it says the pokedex species right on this page: http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Species

I can understand why you put Rotom and Spiritomb as secret answers, because otherwise people might get frustrated, but still... it doesn't teach them that they are not legendaries. If I were you I would put (not a legendary) in brackets next to them. So far example when they type "Rotom" it will come up with Rotom (not a legendary). That way at least they will learn too. Other than that, great quiz =)

Hey guys, I don't wanna make you unhappy or anything, but there are 13 MORE LEGENDARIES coming out in Pokemon Black and white next Spring. Check it out >> http://serebii.net/index2.shtml

In absence of English names, I added all of the BW legendaries as bonus answers under the name serebii gave them, as well as a direct transcription of their katakana.

I used the 'Legendary' section for Black and White on serebii. The ones you mentioned are 'just' event pokemon, but according to serebii, they're not legendary.

I believe some of the locations are wrong, and you have to update others for certain games like HG SS, since, for example, Moltres if s found in Mt. Silver in HG SS and Dialga, Palkia,, and Giratina can be obtained with an Arceus in the Sinoh Ruins. Also, maybe include pseudo-legendaries as bonuses? (Dragonite, Metagross, Tyrannitar, Salamance, Garchomp, and Hydreggion)?

dragonite, tyrantitar, etc. shoudn't be bonuses do to them being rare/super strong. Maybe metagross back in gen 3 when it was a one time gift, but now you can find in the wild within ceratain areas.
