	The answers are only places in England with official city status. Ranks are according to population from the 2001 UK census.

	Nice game! Did you also considered Lincoln? Or is it to small? I looked it up and there are 4 Lincolns in the USA.

	I think Lincoln is too small, because I was using Wikipedia's list, and where it uses populations from the 2001 census, it only lists towns and cities which have (or had) a population of over 100,000, so Lincoln must have had less than 100,000 people living in it in 2001. Thanks for playing and suggesting though!

	I would have thought Worcester (Worcestershire, Massachusetts) to be on here as well, but apparently it fell short with a pop of 94000.

	I think it'd be a more interesting list to do it the opposite way: the most populous American cities that have British counterparts. But still interesting.

	Lincoln and Lancaster should certainly be on there - possibly better done with a different source (ie. all places in England with official city status that have US counterparts?)

	There's a New Brighton in the US, but I'm not sure how you'[re running it.
