Let me know if there are any errors, or if you have any suggestions. My first serious quiz.

Cool tidbits: *)Every pitcher on this list who allowed a run allowed it on a solo homer. *) One pitcher put up the exact same stat line in two games in the same postseason *) Only one pitcher didn't throw a complete game - the guy who pitched in the 1998 NLDS *) One pitcher appears as an answer for a lot of quizzes, but not the ones you might think

Jack Morris threw a 10 inning shutout against the braves; how does he not make it on this list?

I was going to ask the same question. It turns out his 1991 WS masterpiece to win Game 7 (10 IP, 7 H, 2 BB, 8K, ShO) only merits an 84 GameScore. Hmmm... Yet another example of Jack Morris' stats not necessarily reflecting his ability to dominate games. He may not look like a HOFer from his stats, but if you actually watched him pitch you know he's a bona fide candidate.

Great quiz by the way!

On Jack Morris - it was definitely one of the greatest postseason pitching performances of all time, especially considering it was Game Seven of the World Series. But he didn't rack up the highest game score, due mainly to giving up seven hits (-14 points). This is really a list of the most dominating performances that occurred anywhere in the playoffs by the best objective measure I can find - it doesn't take into account the context of the game or anything else. And it was of course inspired by the recent dominating performance earlier today.

I'm going to add Jack Morris, as well as some other guys who just missed or had memorable performances that didn't make it, as bonus answers, but first I'm going to sleep.

There's definitely games missing here - Jack Morris' gm 7 of the 1991 WS, Bobby Jones' 1-hitter in gm 4 of the 2000 NLDS come to mind. Personally I would think that all postseason CG 1-hitters winning pitchers should be included.

Jones just missed with an 88. Jim Lonborg, Bill Bevens, Claude Passeau, and Ed Reulbach also pitched one-hitters, although Bevens walked ten batters, gave up three runs, and lost. I'm not going to add any to the main list since this is a list of the best game scores but I'll add some standouts as bonuses.

Another amazing fact - Livo's performance was on one day's rest - he had pitched in relief in game three and gotten the win.

One of your bonus answers errantly lists 1996 as the year. Quiz idea and execution are both outstanding.
