| @ulashima: (and the author of the quiz) I understand your point about the idea that some places have the characteristics of a suburb but are part of the city and vice-versa. Because of the vagueness of defining it by characteristics, the only way to make an effective sporcle quiz is to use something that is not vague, like the legal borders established by government. That said, Brooklyn and Queens by and large, do not have the characteristics of suburbs, they are very much part of the urban landscape of New York. If you used Staten Island, while it would still be incorrect, one would at least have the argument that it looks more like a suburb. |
