@dunksdabeast22- Sporcle is supposed to be, well, mentally stimulating. Just putting in lettuce wouldn't be hard enough.

Can you add "gai-lan" as an alternate spelling for kai-lan/Chinese broccoli?

@dunksdabeast22 I might as well make "vegetable" an acceptable answer for all of these, then :p @ostroffj will do

I think you guys are missing his point: lettuce shouldn't count, but romaine should work by itself. As it stands, just typing romaine doesn't get you the answer.

Super job, especially for a first quiz! We call bok choy Chinese cabbage. Is that an acceptable alternative?

Could you accept just "chard" for "Swiss chard"? As far as I can tell, the two names are synonymous, so it wouldn't involve accepting a more general term in place of a more specific one.

My (Chinese) family calls it simply "napa" without the "cabbage". I've also seen it spelled "nappa".

Ah, what your calling Napa Cabbage is what we call Chinese Cabbage or Wombok in Australia. And Gailan for what you call Chinese Brocolli. And Cos lettuce for Romaine but you've got that one. So many different terms!
