	Just a small thing, but for Chile you should write "Mainland Chile" as Easter Island is most definitely not South American. Everything else is fine though.

	The way it was worded made me think, "So... the standard South America quiz + France?" But then I found extra blanks and had to think of external territories, so it's all good. :)

	Netherlands Antilles, Panama, and Trinidad and Tobago are not considered South America. Perhaps geologically (science), but not Geography.

	@Superball: Thanks, you're right, it is definitely not. @Hamburger: Geography IS a science, I can attest, I once took it. Simply, Geology is the study of rocks, and their formation and such, though I'm sure someone can give a better definition. Panama is North American as Spain is European, both have territory on another continent. Another definition of the border between the americas is the Panama Canal, which would make it even more so in this quiz. The Netherlands Antilles islands of Bonaire and Curacao are just off venezuela, and Trinidad and Tobago is part of it geographically, if not culturally. I addressed this in the instructions, saying I defined it geographically. In my opinion, culture should be left out of the definition of continents, but there is a debate about that.

	@chipmunkdavis: There are multiple approaches to the study of geography, physical geography (which is what you are talking about in this quiz), cultural geography, political geography, etc. If there is a cultural grouping which spreads across the same area as a continent, I see no reason not to use the name of the continent as the label for that culture.

	I liked this quiz. Of course the appoach may be debatable but it makes you think and may force you to define the concept of South America differently than you have before. One often refers to certain cultures as being of one or another continent but that does not eliminate other cultures from the continent in question. Come on! If we were to do that you'd need to redefine Africa and Asia and probably create a new continent out of sizeable chunks of Africa, the Middle East and Central Asia... It has never been disputed that Guyana and Suriname are parts of South America, so why not Trinidad and Tobago? It's logical. And where culture is concerned I think people are more used to refering to South America as a geographical body but the culture of the majority of the population as Latin American... which of course extens to Central and North America and the Caribbean.

	@Hamburger: Geography does not equal political geography. Physical geography is included. Also, if you read anything that goes beyond an elementary treatment, you'll find that boundaries between "continents" are never absolute. @Superball/Chipmunkdavis: Thanks for being Sporclers who address this!

It's relevant for the maritime claim extent of Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago, and Guyana. 	@gowhere: There is no cultural grouping which spreads across the same area as a continent. Except perhaps Antarctica. Pretty much everyone who lives there is a scientist.
