| @HiddenPalace: At 22 plays one person had rated it 1 sporcle without a comment, so I don't know. I think after that others just followed that trend? Anyway, its not perfect, so maybe thats it. And yes, because of Socotra.
@AisforAddict: Alright, I'll take the Aleutian islands as Asia. Good point. Added Timor-Leste, although I think the Wallace line is more about wildlife than geography, though I could be wrong. I decided not to include Oceania and Antarctica, because both are definitely very debatable.
@Backmarker: Armenia is only culturally European, Azerbaijan and Georg(ia?) are divided between Europe and Asia geographically.
@Joebobs/Williams27/Geoexpert: 1147 is right, I was thinking of this colombian department. This quiz does not consider parts of Mainland Colombia to be in North America, though I'm open to learn!
@Patteroast: Just researched further about that, you're right, that's indisputably North America. Also, it seems that the island is no longer disputed, just the surrounding waters. Conversely, it is so small and low that it disappears in high storms, and the island seems to be shrinking, so I'll add it in as a bonus for now. If more mention it, I will add it in. |
