| Interesting, but the source leaves a lot to be desired. They describe the data as “pasta consumption in the EU”, but then give data for a grab bag of 48 countries around the world. They don’t give any supporting info to back up the stats; and since they’re a union of E.U. pasta manufacturers, it might well be biased towards eg countries that import more of their pasta from Europe. So, yes — fun, but I’m taking it with a pinch of salt. (Plus a splash of olive oil, a few basil leaves, some fresh-ground black pepper and a little grated parmigiano. Mmmm!) |
