	SPEW would be good for this too, as a comment above says. Also, I know that the four alliterative ones are the founders, but SS could also be Severus Snape, and GG could be Gregory Goyle or Gellert Grindelwald. Otherwise, nice quiz.

	guardDuck-- it was always used in the books. i thnk ginny used it but she's not the only one. check it out in the books especially in order of the phoenix because it was widely used there.

	GuardDuck: the DA acronym was used loads in OOTP, but as far as I know DADA is an acronym used by fans that became canon. I don't think it was ever used as an abbrevation for Defence against the Dark Arts in the books.

	Mystic: That's what I meant. I know that the DA is mentioned several times not least the discussion of what it should stand for. But if someone could tell me where in the books "DADA" appears, I'd be happy... and a bit surprised. Also, just to be a lingo geek... HH, GG, RR, SS, JK, APWBD and HJP are not really acronyms.

	GuardDuck, the only place I can find the use of D.A.D.A as a shortened version of Defense Against the Dark Arts in the books is in the Half-Blood Prince, Silver and Opals (Chapter 12). It's at the beginning of the chapter when Harry is trying to work out the use of the nonverbal spell "levicorpus." (Page 239 in the American hard-cover edition.)
