If 'Sodor' was a bonus this excellent quiz would be even better

Surely No.1 is Clapham Junction though? UNLESS IT'S LYING.

I thought clapham junction would be the busiest too. Can't believe Marylebone wasn't on there... it's on the monopoly board and everything

Clapham Junction has the most trains passing through, but they don't all stop and so it's not the busiest form the point of view of passengers. Marylebone - lovely old station, but has only had suburban trains since the late 60s. Oh and great quiz, by the way.

Can't believe I live at CJ and didn't even think of putting it on there. Or Vauxhall. Or Wimbledon.

I guess St Pancras isn't on there because the stats are from before they finished renovating it. I went there in 2006 and only a tiny bit of it was open, with trains to Nottingham. Then they got the Eurostar in there, and opened it to Thameslink trains, and more recently the fast trains to Kent.

Please accept 'Edinburgh' for 'Edinburgh Waverley' as you've allowed 'Euston' for 'London Euston' for example and there are no other stations with Edinburgh in their name.

@thecheshirecat Just so you know, a few trains a day travel from London Marylebone to Wrexham, via Shrewsbury, Telford, and Birmingham. And I wouldn't exactly call London to Wrexham 'suburban'.

@videomaniac29: er, no they don't. Service to Wrexham stopped running a while back

Eurgh, it's fair to say a knowledge of London helps.

@thecheshirecat: Oops; Sorry. I was reading out-of-date data. But Marylebone only lost that service a year or two ago. Also; can you please accept 'New Street', 'Piccadilly', and 'Waverley', because you accept the names without the city for London.
