You say the quiz includes townships, but you are missing all the townships in New York that should be here. Hempstead, North Hempstead, Oyster Bay, Babylon, Huntington, Islip, Brookhaven, Ramapo, Greece, and Amherst should all be here, and I may have missed a few.

Thanks for the information. I don't know why Citypopulation.de lists townships in New Jersey but not in other states, I made it clearer in the description.

Why use that site when you could just use US Census data? Much more accurate.

Towns SomeoneRandom like Islip or Amherst have villages and hamlets within them that have their own government, school districts, etc. They tend to be treated as collections of towns, otherwise some of those Long Island towns would be considered almost as large as Miami or Cleveland. Townships in New Jersey are different than townships in most places. The term 'Township' really just refers to a certain form of municipal government. Very few people refer to, say, Edison as "Edison Township". Edison isn't a part of anything, and nothing is a part of Edison. They'll only use the full name to differentiate when there's a Whatever Borough/Town and Whatever Township like the two Princetons or the two Rockaways.

If you include Edison,NJ you need to include Woodbridge,NJ as well. They are both townships and almost identical in population.
