| Great idea but: 1) You should add the diacritics. 2) In the Third and Fourth Republics, the President had less power than the President of Council (Président du Conseil). 3) During the Fifth Republic, the true "leader" was sometimes the Prime Minister, whose party won the elections against the party of the President: Jacques Chirac 1986-1988, Édouard Balladur 1993-1997 and Lionel Jospin 1997-2002. |
