	Nice quiz. I actually took a slightly different method to your solution for parts 8 & 9 (spoiler from the 'adds up to 12' clue, the only combination possible for LQV is 3+4+5 in whichever order. That means you can cancel out 4+3=7 and 5+3=8 for clue C because 3, 4 and 5 must all be in different columns. Then you just need to cancel out 6+3=9, due to the odd numbers clue, to leave 1+2=3 as the only possibility.)

	@thedpr: I actually found F to be useful. Because the clue at T dictates that r and s have to be odd numbers, you know that just leaves 7 and 9. Also, clue at H says that the R square must have a clue. If every clue is necessary, then 9 can't have a clue if it is possible for it to be entered last. Thus, R must have 7.

	@fergenaprido every square is a rectangle so it's still correct. I used rectangle instead of square because the shape itself is a rectangle.

	It's not possible for 9 to have a clue. Cell H: If you don't guess and only use logic, it's possible for 9 to be the last one. Cell E says that every clue is necessary to get all 9 numbers without guessing. That means it's not possible for 9 to have a clue.

	Is it really possible to 'discover' 9 last when the placement of 8 is determined by knowing where the 9 is? Also, after you get 7 you know that the last odd number must go in the only blank space in that column, which is 9. Unless I guessed without realizing it on one of the clues.

	When the clue says discover it means entering 9 in the correct box. It's possible to know where 9 is without entering it in the box. That is how it's possible for it to be the last number "discovered" without guessing.

	Hardest ever? Hardly; it took me four minutes. But it's certainly interesting, though the meta-logic involved in getting the 7 is kind of weird.

	I solved this completely by using logic but ended with 8/6. Also, with all due respect to the quiz maker, this is definitely not the most difficult logic puzzle, as i normally don't even finish them in time, much less six minutes. Once you know that only 3,4,5 will add up to twelve with 1 and 2 already taken you're pretty much done. Still, awesome quiz, an easier logic puzzle always comes in handy to make me feel better after that travellers/suitcase puzzle.

	I just want to say that I do not think this is the hardest logic puzzle ever. I do, however, think that the quiz is good, so I named it "Hardest Logic Puzzle Ever" so more people would play it. Because more people play it, more people get to enjoy the quiz. There's some logic.

	Cell E: "necessary" is misspelled. Somebody else mentioned "column" to you, which made me feel free to tell you. But I LOVE the quiz and I agree with gorbadorba, straight logic, no sports etc. Do another one if you haven't already! Thanks!

	I'm voting this down simply because it says hardest logic puzzle ever. That title raises the bar and puts you on a tougher grading scale. You simply did not deliver.

	Had fun with this one, but I think it is an easier one, took me under 6 minutes to solve. However, I disagree with the clue that says 9 will be the last guessed, I figured 9 out before figuring out 5 other numbers.

	@phsdancer: It doesn't say 9 will be the last guessed. It says that it's possible (which means it's impossible for 9 to be in cell R)

	A fun little quiz, but definitely not the hardest (the logic puzzle that required knowledge of presidents born in Ohio was much harder). I suggest you rephrase F to "last number entered", since we KNOW where 9 is at the same time as 7.

	While not the hardest ever, it had some (at least for me) novel ideas. Which took me a while to figure out. For that alone 5 globes.

	While the quiz says it's "possible" for 9 to be the last number guessed, it doesn't specify that such a pattern is mandatory. But when I guessed 8 as my final number it was marked wrong. If 9 should be answered last, please specify that as a requirement.

	Good quiz. I have done it three times now and had my buddy do it too and still do not see how 9 could be last number. We both had to figure out 7 (which gave us 9 due to odd numbers in the column) and from 7's clue we figured out 6 and 8.

	@roccondil: there is no way in Sporcle quizzes to count the order (unless you force it). So this is just a hint, not a requirement. Something else was wrong with your solution, most probably you already had the 8 somewhere else and overlooked it.

	I disagree with all the people here complaining about the logic behind getting number 7/9. I thought is was a fresh idea, and a lot more challenging than a clue like "if cell 1 is A, cell 2 is B" because it demands that you think out of the box. So, although it was certainly not the hardest logic quiz out there, it still deserves the 5 globes I gave it.

	Clue C threw me way, way off. I thought it was implying that there is one number in each column that is equal to the sum of the other two, so when I had numbers 1-5 figured out, I was like, how the **** can I find a sum involving 5 and a number between 6 and 9 that will result in something between 6 and 9? I guess in retrospect it meant that there is only one number in the game for which that is true. The 'logic' involved isn't really very rigorous and I definitely didn't feel like I needed all the clues to figure it out.

	This really wasn't too difficult as others have said. But, I don't know how to figure out the 6/8# cells (W/X) based on the clues. What am I missing? It seems to me, either way satisfies R's clue.

	@GreatScott It's really a combination of clues F, H, and E. E tells you every clue is necessary (which is necessary to know to solve), which makes E itself necessary. F tells you using logic and not guessing that it is possible that 9 is the last guessed. Then H tells you R has a clue. Therefore, since R is either 9 or 7 by the end, you know it has to be 7 because it has a clue (and it's not possible for 9 to have a clue because as E tells you: every clue is necessary).

	@GreatScott - for 6/8 you need the clue at R -> putting 8 into one of the remaining boxes will make the clue at R invalid because both 8 and 9 will fulfil it and it says "only one" -> thus 8 must go in the other box leaving only one possibility for 6. Does that help? Cool quiz! Like it - hardest or not, it was fun.
