Good quiz, but... if the District of Columbia doesn't border any ocean anyway, why is it necessary to declare in the introduction that it isn't included in the list?

Great idea for a quiz. Two recommendations: List the states in either random order or in order of length of of coastline (alphabetical makes it easy to fill in gaps); have the length of coastline appear when the player enters a correct state. These would spice up this rather drab quiz considerably.

@Sjoerd: Canada has provinces, not states. But Brazil and other countries have. However, you can't answer the state of Rio de Janeiro as a state that borders the Atlantic Ocean. I suppose that by default, "states" means "states of the USA". At least I think this is the normal usage in Sporcle.
