Good idea for a quiz, but there is WAY too much time to complete it. I feel like 3 minutes should be enough for it, maybe even less. Finished with 4:24 left. The majority of the time I spent on the quiz was wondering why Al Kaline wasn't accepted for the first answer, until I looked down and saw the second Tigers spot and realized I had to put the other 3000 hitter for the Tigers in the first spot.

you can't force the user to answer in order if more than one question has the same clue

This quiz will confuse a bit/ have problems, in that it includes Rose and Mays. People (half at least) will think you mean players who've had 3000 hits and played for only one team. I'm not sure how to title it to make it less confusing, either.

good idea for a quiz. what i dont understand is how 2/3 of the quiz takers are getting every answer. that almost never happens. especially with trying to spell yastrzemski

thanks for your opinions, the time will be lowered and ill try to re-word the title. as for rose and mays they got 3000 hits for one team, but maybe were traded.

It's Robin Yount, not Robert.

until taking this quiz, i didn't realize that Honus Wagner didn't have 3000 hits for the Pirates (he was about 50 shy but with his 3 years with the Colonels, had 3415). Cool quiz with Jeter just reaching 3000.

I find it amazing that half of the 28 with 3000 did it with one team, something tells me Jeter will be the last for a very long time.

Depends how long Ichiro plays/is productive. Second half this year + next year are going to go a long way toward telling the story, but he's certainly a player who could play into his 40s, and even at a somewhat diminished pace he'd be a threat to get 3000. But right now I'd say it's 60/40 he won't.

Chipper Jones (2500+, 39 years old) and Todd Helton (2300+, 37 years old) also have outside shots. Way outside shots, but it's possible. Jones is having a bad year and is perhaps near done, but Helton's had a resurgent season. But even slumping, Ichiro seems the likeliest.

Ichiro would seem the likeliest, but dont forget hes up there in age! I believe the guy with the best shot is Pujols, if he can stay healthy he will get there
