| I wouldn't make this into a political statement, boyzfootball4. And I think the data do not support you anyway. There are several southern cities on the list (in Mississippi, Alabama, and Louisiana). Most of the cities are in the steel-belt. Those industrial jobs didn't go to southern and western states, but overseas. And the most "liberal" states (with presumably what you would call the "least friendly" tax laws) are entirely absent from the list - New York, Massachusetts, New Jersey. Even California, which has two cities on the list, has other cities that have gained people and gained population as a state. |
