elh530 : Aug 23rd, 2011 at 05:18 GMT 2 points I feel like Goofy should be another option with Max.
TimeBandit : Aug 23rd, 2011 at 05:33 GMT 6 points Funny, the only thing I could think of for Max was Erma.
joeflint82 : Aug 23rd, 2011 at 06:17 GMT 5 points All I could think of was a backwards Sam & Max :) Very good quiz.
Etep : Aug 23rd, 2011 at 12:22 GMT 9 points You know you're getting into the upper age bracket if you're among the minority who knew Davey and Goliath, and Ruff and Reddy (who knew 'Reddy' was spelled that way?).
Glad to see Tom and Jerry have more staying power.
Osiriz : Aug 23rd, 2011 at 13:42 GMT -1 points Darn, who is Max and Ruby? I thought it was Max and Peter.
ezois : Aug 23rd, 2011 at 13:54 GMT 2 points I typed Goliath with no expectation of being right. Ready was accepted for Reddy so maybe the quiz was edited.
lotuslee : Aug 23rd, 2011 at 14:16 GMT 5 points Max and Ruby are rabbit siblings. The only reason I know this is because I have grandchildren. Fun quiz.
Booger : Aug 23rd, 2011 at 14:18 GMT 7 points @ezois: I accepted Ready for Reddy on purpose because I don't feel Sporcle quizzes should be about spelling unless they are spelling quizzes. I always try to accept alternate spellings.
disneytipp25 : Aug 23rd, 2011 at 15:02 GMT 1 point I would accept Max and PJ because of Goof Troop. But still a great quiz.
Booger : Aug 23rd, 2011 at 15:48 GMT 2 points @elh530 and elh530: I'd never heard of Max and PJ. Having looked it up, it seems like a plausible alternative answer. Max and Goofy, on the other hand, does not. When referenced (albeit rarely), the duo is referenced as Goofy and Max.
evandervos : Aug 23rd, 2011 at 16:00 GMT 11 points Pinky and the Brain Brain Brain Brain Brain Brain Brain Brain Brain Brain Brain Brain NARF
haber : Aug 23rd, 2011 at 16:08 GMT 0 points When I saw Max,I thought Mary and Max. But I could not figure out why they would put Max first.
booshke : Aug 23rd, 2011 at 16:21 GMT 2 points I KNEW MAX AND RUBY :D you have to be among the younger generation to get that one
jtrichey : Aug 23rd, 2011 at 16:52 GMT 2 points Ruff and Reddy, they're always tough and steady.
mishmosh : Aug 23rd, 2011 at 18:24 GMT 0 points You should accept Tweetie. I got it wrong because I didn't know it used a Y.
Max and Ruby. Oh boy, only knew that one because I have a much younger brother.
Anne13 : Aug 23rd, 2011 at 20:18 GMT 6 points Thanks for including Terrence and ___________. My favorite show within a show!
wyldhare : Aug 23rd, 2011 at 20:45 GMT -1 points I have never heard of Max and Ruby. WTH?
randmperson2 : Aug 23rd, 2011 at 21:19 GMT 1 point Ah! I can't believe I forgot Max and Ruby! My little brother used to love that show. But I agree, I think "Goofy" should also be an answer for that one, simply because of Goof Troop.
ZoraMalfoy : Aug 23rd, 2011 at 22:42 GMT 2 points I'm proud to be in the younger age bracket and still know who "Ruff and Reddy" are! I loved that show as a kid! Fun quiz! I would definitely love to see more like these. :)
Comment below threshold: show it LostxinthexMusic : Aug 23rd, 2011 at 23:57 GMT -14 points Does anyone else think it should be Romeo & ____, not Gnomeo & ____? It just... bothers me >.
freaky69az : Aug 26th, 2011 at 05:27 GMT 3 points Cracking toast, Gromit!
Waffel113 : Apr 28th, 2012 at 18:39 GMT 2 points And @LostxinxthexMusic gets a thumbs down for not getting the point of the quiz! It's ANIMATED duos. Were Romeo and Juliet ever made into an animated TV Show or Movie? I Think Not.
#Pipebomb!
Xpider : Jun 8th, 2012 at 19:48 GMT 2 points Once again, my couch potato life pays off! (I have to take the small victories, since it hasn't done much good otherwise) Also, having children and nieces and nephews helps. I remember the older stuff, and I know the newer stuff because of the new generation!
ivan9193 : Jul 19th, 2012 at 18:19 GMT 1 point It's spelled Terrance, not Terrence.
dedetonks : Dec 4th, 2012 at 15:47 GMT 2 points I wrote snitch...why does my life revolve around Harry Potter so heavily? :)
