	Part of the island is also Northern Ireland, which is the UK. So island isn't an island country because it doesn't control the entire island.

	You cite your source as being Wikipedia. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_island_countries. Largest by area-Australia, second largest, Indonesia. Ireland is listed as an island country "Centred on part of one major island". Additionally, according to Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Central_America, "Central America consists of the seven states of Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Panama." I'm fine with the Madagascar answer, but don't use a source that says Indonesia is the second largest. Antigua and Barbuda is definitely not in Central America, and Ireland is on an island.

	@klempererfamily: No - Central America is geographically limited to Guatemala, El Salvador, Belize, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Panama. The Caribbean is a distinct region.

	Why are people being voted down here for reminding us (as beastlybeast and geowhiz did) that Central America consists only of the 7 nations between Mexico and Colombia? Any geographer will tell you that.

	The official name of Taiwan is Taiwan. The Republic of China is the name for the government which controls Taiwan (as well as several much smaller islands).
