	@cj62392: Ah, there's the rub. My original sumbission had the scrambled word as LAMP instead of ALPM, just to avoid the very such instance you cite. I would hope the editors/publishers might restore it or now add lamp as an alternative. ;)

	I was going to ask for another minute (I figured out the common word with about :30 left), but even with it there's no way I would've gotten Linseed, Soybean, Mineral, Synthetic, or Neatsfoot.

	Shale and Tung are words I've never seen, but I guessed the anagram, and that threw me off because then I worried that I wouldn't know the other words either. Difficult, but fair. I should have had more faith.

	@Stran: Neatsfoot oil is used to keep leather supple. Common uses are in saddlery and sporting leathers, esp. baseball gloves. @donpcd: My original quiz included a scramble of Extra Virgin Olive; that one fell in the editor's or publisher's decision. Don't get me wrong… I'm not angry with the editors and publishers, because Sporcle would suck without them. :)

	is it just me or does the title say 'Can you name "the the" unscrambled words with a common theme'. Also, you should make it less confusing i.e. Can you unscramble the words with a common theme

	Good one. Solid difficulty, especially the inclusion of "midnight", which you wouldn't immediately think of as a "type" of oil.
