| @commprof: I've never actually heard that argument before. I know that Link from Wind Waker is supposed to be a descendant of the OoT/MM Link, but I always just assumed that like the Mario characters, he was the same Link for most games. Now that I think about it though, it does make sense. Link has sisters, uncles, and grandmothers in some games that you never see in others. Also, he meets Zelda for the first time in many of his games suggesting multiple Links. Although if that's the case, does that mean there are multiple Zeldas too? If there was only one Zelda, I'm sure she'd recall running into several different Links. Either this is a major plot hole in the entire Zelda series, or the games (with the exception of OoT & MM) weren't meant to acknowledge each other. Dang, now we've started a really great debate. What do others think? I'm eager to hear other opinions! |
