| @Outlander: The Pirates have been pretty bad for awhile, but prior to that, they'd won 9 division titles, 9 NL pennants, and 5 World Series. They've produced 41 hall of famers (13 entered as Pirates) - amongst the all-time greats that Pittsburgh can claim for its own are Honus Wagner, Roberto Clemente, Ralph Kiner, Pie Traynor, Arky Vaughan, Lloyd and Paul Waner, Bill Mazeroski, and Willie Stargell. Those guys built up a lot of wins over the years, so much so that they're still holding onto that over-.500 record despite being 418 games under .500 since 1993. |
