This quiz has the 25 heaviest, lightest, tallest and shortest MLB players that have played at least ONE MLB GAME this year (2009). WEIGHT IS MEASURED IN POUNDS, HEIGHT IS MEASURED IN INCHES. I don't expect anyone to get anywhere near 100% because there are so many obscure names out there on the list. Towards the end of the list (78 and 69 inches, 245 and 160 pounds), a bunch of guys tied for the last number, so I tried to pick the more well known players so you guys would have an easier time.

Masterson should be BOS/CLE. Good quiz.
Dec 11th, 2009 at 04:24 GMT
broxton is huge the dodgers closer
Dec 11th, 2009 at 05:00 GMT
Since it's the offseason and Tim McCarver is not around to mention it constantly, yes David Eckstein is short.
Dec 11th, 2009 at 05:30 GMT
I am shocked Juan Pierre is not on this list, he seems so small....
Dec 11th, 2009 at 07:14 GMT
Rauch played for Minnesota too.
Dec 11th, 2009 at 11:07 GMT
Broxton is "only" 6'4 and 240 lbs. His baggy clothes does make him look massive though. Pierre is 6'0, 180 lbs. His face makes him look like he's like 5. @Citzensnips, I think you forgot to mention that he is SCRAPPY and has GRIT and MENTAL TOUGHNESS.
Dec 11th, 2009 at 13:18 GMT
6'6" 285lbs? Blanks should be a D-Lineman for the Chargers, not right field for the Padres. By the way, he should also be on the tallest list.
Dec 11th, 2009 at 14:35 GMT
I keep forgetting about Matt Stairs because he LOOKS like a big guy.
Dec 11th, 2009 at 16:04 GMT
i cant believe masterson weighs that much
Dec 11th, 2009 at 16:15 GMT
Don't forget that Eckstein JUST KNOWS HOW TO WIN.
Dec 11th, 2009 at 17:59 GMT
Blanks is fast for his size though. He had an inside the park home run last year.
Dec 11th, 2009 at 20:00 GMT
I refuse to believe Justin Masterson weighs as much as CC Sabathia. There is no way possible.
Dec 11th, 2009 at 20:19 GMT
How is Bartolo Colon not on this list?
Dec 11th, 2009 at 20:20 GMT
Todd Coffey not being listed as at least 245 is a travesty.
Dec 11th, 2009 at 20:38 GMT
CC at 250lbs is a joke, hahah!
Dec 11th, 2009 at 22:44 GMT
As a yankees fan, I take heart that CC Sabathia is not the fattest in the MLB.

is this gonna be on the final?
Dec 12th, 2009 at 04:11 GMT
@Fiend: yeah, wasn't he pushing 295 as recently as two years ago? @Blaise: don't forget his huge HEART
Dec 12th, 2009 at 04:38 GMT
theres no way masterson is 250
Dec 12th, 2009 at 05:04 GMT
i had to drive juan pierre home from a game once. he sat in the middle of the back seat of my ford escort, stuck between two girls (no tiger woods jokes please!). I'm shocked he isn't on this list after seeing that happen in person.
Dec 12th, 2009 at 05:28 GMT
Sabathia 250? That sounds... SERIOUSLY fudged.
Dec 12th, 2009 at 06:13 GMT
Players lie about their weight all the time. These baseball sites all have different numbers but Baseball Reference is generally known as the most accurate baseball site so I just go by their numbers. CC probably only looks 300+ because of his jersey style.
Feb 7th, 2010 at 05:34 GMT
tyler walkers doesnt look that heavy
Feb 8th, 2010 at 03:49 GMT
Masterson weighs as much as Sabathia? Shocking.
Feb 15th, 2010 at 06:35 GMT
Oh Tyler Walker is HUGE

Albalade for the Yankees should be Albaladejo. Otherwise great quiz!
