Apparently the secret to being a successful NFL coach is to be named Bill.

Parcells is on here twice (like Dan Reeves) because he won a championship in both conferences. Gruden's first name is spelled Jon though.

I think one more minute would be helpful. I'm certain there are more 3% of those who took the quiz that know 46 or more. A lot of us just ran out of time.

I needed more time. I got Ray Malavasi with 5.2% of others. I'm a genius.

Excellent quiz. Now the question is: Will you be adding the name Harbaugh to 0, 1 or both of these lists on Sunday night?

I've got sequential quizzes out for each conference: http://www.sporcle.com/games/Dralcoffin/afc_champ_coaches and http://www.sporcle.com/games/Dralcoffin/nfc_champ_coaches .

You know you're desperate when you guess Wayne Fonts. For pretty much anything.

Jim Caldwell is on the list. I just can't get past that.

Damn, I'm dumb! I missed the line the said Super Bowl era, so I was not thinking about the Super Bowl losers who obviously won their league to get there.

@UTR, there are several winners of the coaching lottery in this quiz (Caldwell, Callahan, Martz, Seifert). I kept guessing good coaches instead of trying for mediocre coaches who inherited good teams.

I've done the superbowl winning coach quiz and the superbowl losing coach quiz. For some reason having them both on the same quiz was harder. I kept jumping around - I should have just gone in chronological order the way I did with the other quizzes, but by the time I realized that, everything was a jumble.

About Caldwell... we all know the real coach of the 2009 Colts was standing under center.
