Great idea for a quiz. There's one sneaky issue you need to fix. When you type in the last name of 6,032 your AP bonus pops up (note the last word in the bonus). I think putting a period or exclamation point after the bonus answer will fix that. Also, a personal preference, I would denote active platers with an asterisk. Still a great quiz.

Good quiz. Makes you realize just how many great running backs try to get one more year with another team after they're washed up.

I think I got the bonus for DAL/ARI before the player from MN with the same name.

Freeman McNeil shows up on more of these lists than I ever thought he would. He had a much better career than I ever thought.

I respectfully disagree, Art. I had 9 after 3 minutes, 11 after 4 minutes, but finished with 13.
But even beyond my personal results, given that these players are a) mostly relatively obscure and b) associated with one team, I think the combination leads to a lot of brain-racking for which it's useful to have the extra time. You really have to think hard through your knowledge of various teams' histories.

I got 8 bonus guys. The OJ entry is classic. I almost pooped in my Bruno Maglis.

If only LT hadn't left the chargers, he'd be near the top of this list.

@ArtVandeley So did I, actually. I don't mind it at 5, though.

I wonder how many people got Robert Smith by guessing Emmitt? I knew Emmitt ended with the Cardinals so I never tried Smith..

other way around for me, devilsfan15. I knew Robert Smith had walked away from the Vikings, and also knew Emmitt didn't spend his whole life in Dallas, so I got the bonus that way.

Since I am a Jets fan, I really should remember how to spell Freeman's last name.

I had the first 14 answers quickly, then used the next few minutes to type in as many incorrect answers as I could think of just to read the author notes.
