If you're counting redesigns like GBASP and DSlite then you should also include Game Boy Advance Micro. But personally, I dont think they should be included.

I agree with 500daysofandrew about Game Boy Advance Micro. And Game Boy Pocket.

Thirding that set of comments - if the SP and the DS Lite are being counted, so should the Game Boy Advance Micro, the Game Boy Pocket, the Super Game Boy (that at least added a new feature), and the Game Boy Player. Similarly, if the Japan-only Color TV Game is counted, there is no good reason to exclude the iQue Player and the Satellaview.

I waited with such anticipation for the 64DD to hit American shores. It never made it off the Japanese coast.

Even on the official Nintendo US website, the "Game Boy Advance Micro" is merely known as the "Game Boy Micro". I ended up failing to get that one due to the quiz wanting an incorrect name.

Gameboy Micro is not the Gameboy Advance Micro. Gameboy Color should accept Colour for us British folk. Famicom isnt on there. Gameboy IS the Gameboy Pocket.

@zezzel: Gameboy Color is a proper name. You can't change the spelling of it because it's not something your used to.

If you're going to add minor remakes of the Game Boy and DS then you should count the top-loading NES, the Super Gameboy, and the Game Boy Player for GameCube too.

Also the Japan-only 64DD which actually played games that were exclusive to it although it connected with the N64.

Boo, stupid handhelds. Again, with the redesigns, why not the top loading NES? That was WAY more useful/glitchfree than making a gameboy smaller.. And the Super Game Boy thing, for sure.

Since there is the color tv game(japan only) and gba micro(little specific, but I like it) you should definitely include FDS and 64DD.

@robshulz - Actually, the top-loading NES was far from glitch-free. In trying to take the size of the circuit board down, they inadvertantly removed a transistor that was important, leading to a slight vertical striping pattern appearing in the background at all times while playing it. :)

Virtual Boy FTW! Sure it might make you go blind, but it's the most fun Mario Tennis and it was "portable."

Am I the only one that knew the Japan-only Game Boy Light, the backlit Game Boy Pocket that I wanted so much? Why is it not on here? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Game_Boy_line#Game_Boy_Light

No matter how much I gradually lose interest in modern gaming, I still love my NES, and play it when I can! It's always been my favorite system.

Wow. Including the Color TV Game was kinda dastardly. I'll freely admit I had to sprint to get my copy of Game Over and look it up in order to get it, though I think remembering almost exactly where it was mentioned in the bloody book should count for something :P
