I dunno. It's just the Liverpool and Man United ones were 31 players, so I went with that for mine.

In this quiz for chelsea you can see how they change there team each year, cause forgot alot of them. And you can see how they got a better team each year. You can also make a quiz, name all the clubs jimmy floyd hasselbaink played for.

For anyone who complains that Sporcle is too America-centric, I would point you to the number of Premier League quizzes, none of which could be answered by the average American (including this one). Not complaining, mind you, just pointing it out.

There's about 20 published Premier League quizzes which most americans won't be able to do. There's about 200 hockey, american football, basketball or baseball quizzes which most people from outside North America won't be able to do. Not that I'm complaining either, there's enough football quizzes (including this one) to satisfy me, but you can hardly say they're the majority.

3.4 million pounds per Premier League goal... Sheva was well worth it ;) (and I'm a Chelsea fan)

Thanks again Sporcle for publishing my quiz. May as well take this opportunity to shamelessly plug my many other 'Top 31' Premier League quizzes, which you can find in my profile. Koltrane, there really aren't enough football quizzes being published, because it has such a wide audience in Britain. I think this site should be just as Brit-friendly as it is American-friendly, because it doesn't mean you have to play our games, does it?

@Koltrane and @Cestrian
There are about hundreds "big four" quizzes, where "big four" constitutes four of the smaller world sports, that we outside the USA can't do. There are fewer than twenty football quizzes.... and seriously this quiz is so average that I'm glad we don't have more of these.
The upsetting thing is that there are lots of very good football (and other sports) quizzes that sporcle admins overlook. This needs fixing! :P

Also, love the fact that Terry is sitting up that high, with more goals than Essien, Ballack, etc. and how the hell did I miss Crespo?!

The real point about whether or not Sporcle is US-centric is not how many specialist quizzes there are on particular sports. If I see there's an NHL quiz, I don't bother with it. If an American without any interest in the Premier League sees this quiz, he/she won't bother with it. Surely the main problem is the number of miscellaneous/General Knowledge quizzes which have a significant US-sports or US-TV content.

@kypzethdurron . This one ain't average. Have a look at my Crystal Palace one - THAT one is mediocre. ;)

@Cestrian: Nothing about hockey is "America-centric", so long as we're referring to the country.

@JWC. I never said it was. I said most people outside North America wouldn't be able to answer questions on it. I am far too scared of a canadian backlash to have made that mistake, trust me.

After getting Mark Stein I became so obsessed with trying to remember Paul Furlong's name that I managed to miss Crespo, Shevchenko, Robben and Flo. I didn't even get him. I just had an image of him branded into my mind to the end of the quiz.

Nearly the end of the season though, luckily. Once Sporcle let me edit it, it should be a doddle.

football is global, the american sports are v. parochial. how many nationalities are represented in the chelsea answers (i think it's about 20)? and they've only been a big (ie global) team for the last 7 years! the answer lists for the american quizzes are full of americans and canadians. having said all that there's plenty of space in sporcle for quizzes for everybody!

the point everyone is missing is the fact that the much small american sports are small for a reason - because there are crap. The two largest sports in the world football and cricket are quality!

I rare zero for me. I can almost always count on a smith or johnson. I take every sports quiz, regardless of whether or not I know anything about it. I guess I'm trying to learn something. Obviously I don't know much about the Chelsea team. But I have learned that fans of other teams (or "clubs" if we must) like to mock Chelsea.

As a Stoke fan, I'm really disappointed that I missed Mark Stein. 12 out of 31, got all the easy ones (Lampard, Zola, Gudjohnson etc.) but still missed a few that I should of got, (Di Matteo, Stein, Poyet, Crespo etc.)
