	Great idea, and I sort of enjoyed it- just didnt realize "trees" and "sod" were crops. Also why is "vegetables" a collective answer when the answer to Florida is "oranges" and not "fruit"?

	If trees is a valid answer, then Maine's answer should be trees, not vegetables. The whole northern part of the state is owned by logging companies.

	I'll check the source link Esme. Thanks for pointing it out. To the rest of you, I just took these answers from the Census website. I didn't combine anything. They list vegetables rather than breaking them down by type. In Hawaii, the trees being referred to are trees planted and grown for harvesting. It's my guess that logging is't considered agriculture. I'm just guessing though. As for Florida, yes, oranges were listed singularly rather than fruit. I was surprised too.

	Well..... You do make a point AceInTheHole, but I think the assumption here is that since it's the Census Department putting out the stats, it has to be a legal crop.
