| Yom Hashoah
Yom Hazikaron
Yom Haatzmaut
Yom Yerushalayim
The above are not Jewish holidays. They are Zionist holidays, and while I see no problem with them being recognized, they are not Jewish holidays in the same way as, say, Pesach (Passover) or Sukkot.
Also, you need to allow more spelling options for Hoshana Rabbah. I tried every spelling I could think of, but I couldn't get it.
Pesach (Passover) is in the Omer. We begin counting the second night.
David is in the Ushpizin. And unfortunately there is no English translation of the term- it's the seven guest that visit on Sukkot, one on each night.
You can theoretically say that Hoshanah Rabbah and Simchat Torah count, if only for the reason that they each have their own customs. But there are valid arguments both ways.
All in all, this quiz definitely needs work (and spellchecking) but it's a good concept. |
