Please note the regional assignments used allow for the data to be arranged in a user friendly format; they may not follow typical convention. Also, feel free to comment with any suggestions for improvement/corrections.

I like the way it's laid out 'geographically', although admittedly it took me a minute to figure it out. I also like that this layout makes "Canada" the first country :)

Thanks for the comment. It took me awhile to set it up that way, but I think it's worth it.

Excellent. I really like the idea of roughly equal "bite size" chunks of countries. You did a good job of grouping them, IMO.

Nice quiz! Maybe you should accept just "Vatican" too, because that's how it has been taught for ages in Finland at least.

Nice. I really like getting to think geographically without scrolling past the map. Also, someone pointed out to me that "rep congo" and "dem rep congo" are also standard sporcle shorthand.

I got two of the bonuses, but I can't think of the others. The pattern between the two I got is that they are both large territories (not islands) belonging to a country on another continent.

Hey, kind of a dumb question, but I'd like to use this on my Capitals and Countries of the World quiz: I love your color scheme! Which colors (talking codes, "#XXXXXX") did you use for the header and the answer column?

@randomhandle: I got the colors from an old map...here are the codes: Blue #7EAFD0, Brown #C49375

@Starstruck & @confused: Thanks for catching those, I made the changes for Vatican, Dem Rep Congo, and Rep Congo. Let me know if you find any others...

@Ourboros313: I would've liked to put in many more bonuses but the limit is 200 answers. So I could only do five...

Awesome quiz!!! It's a lot easier playing this than the one with the map! I haven't got them all yet, but I'm on my way.

Love the quiz, the regions were selected nicely and are similar to how I approach the Countries of the World quiz, from Canada and working south, etc. I tried Antarctica too but was disappointed, I did get three bonuses though! I wonder what the last two are...

I got 4 of the bonuses, but I can't find the last one. Two are in South America, one in North America, and one in Western Africa.

this quiz is grossly eurocentric, but much more effective than the original countries of the world quiz

I couldn't do antarctica because the bonuses have to be aligned with a grouping to show up - and I didn't know which grouping to assign antarctica to...I suppose Oceania would work???

Nice idea, but your groupings are off....you put Greece in "South Europe" when you have a SE Europe category...Also, most people would consider Switzerland, and Germany west Europe...those are just two examples.

dane-if your problem is that europe is all across the top, then perhaps you should rearrange the world map
