	Princess Toadstool's name was not "Peach" until Super Mario 64. Given that you give Super Mario Bros. as her game of appearance, "Princess Toadstool" should be accepted if not required. Also, I wouldn't even come close to calling Waluigi and Birdo major Mario characters.

	What kind of criteria do people who award this 5 assign to rating games? The selection of these characters seemed very arbitrary.

	yeah, I agree with eurythmech. if you're going to put a somewhat insignificant enemy like koopa troopa, you might as well put: lakitu, hammer bros, goomba, etc. still a fun game, regardless :)

	what about all the newer games ie mario party and tennis and doubledash and kart wii if you include waluigi from tennis you need all the tennis characters

	Mario wasn't in Donkey Kong. Jumpman was, but Mario was not.

	You should add all of the recurring enemies if you're gonna have Koopa Troopa. And if you have Birdo and Waluigi, then you can't name this quiz "Major Mario Characters." This could be good if you added a lot more characters to give it more difficulty. But you need to be consistent.

	I would certainly include Wart as a main antagonist before birdo or koopa troopa, since when asked for a main character I'm inclined to think of playable characters and final bosses.

	@dwightshelford Mario was in Donkey Kong (ok yes he was called jumpman back when it came out) but the plumber with the red hat and blue overall became known as mario over time and Princess Peach or Toadstool was also in the orignal Donkey Kong game. I also don't understand how these characters were selected it seems like it was almost random throwing in some of the characters

	Goomba should be on the list. Birdo as a main character? And who were the idiots who didn't do Mario? He was in all the game names except Donkey Kong, what who missed Donkey Kong?

	they probably thought mario was too obvious of an answer. If you're going to put birdo on the list, why not put the other Mario 2 bosses on the list? I guessed Mouser and Triclyde and neither of them were on the list! What luck!
