| Have to agree with luke78. Normally these subjective lists are kind of fun for the debates they spark. But this one seems so out in left field that it really has no defense. It leaves all the old timers like Budge, Tilden and LaCoste off the list. But even if you start with the '60's the list leaves slam winners like Safin, Hewitt, Rafter, Cash and Currier off the list while including Tanner, Dibbs, Solomen and Okker who not only never won a slam but can't even be mentioned in the same breath as Laver or Emerson ( 2 other major omissions from your list ). |
