I missed 1989 as I was listening to him do commentary on the Packers-Falcons playoff game. Whoops.

2007 and 2002 were awful drafts for QBs. #2-6 for 2007 are JaMarcus Russell, Tyler Thigpen, Kevin Kolb, Brady Quinn, and Troy Smith. For 2002 it is Joey Harrington, David Carr, Josh McCown, Patrick Ramsey, and JT O'Sullivan. Only 2 QBs from the 2002 draft are even still in the league, the same number as the 1995 draft.

YES make Leaf a bonus with the extra info saying: Greatest QB ever, it wouldn't be fair to the others if he was included.

2007 was such a good draft year for QBs, Trent Edwards was first.

Never in a million years would have got 1980. Must have typed in Young (Steve) three times before stopping to think about who else was drafted that year -- still did not believe the answer even after I typed it in and it was accepted!

@Havok3595 I got him by accident also, but I was just thinking through teams and thought of Wade Wilson when I got to the Vikings.

As a Bills fan, I'm flabbergasted to see Trent Edwards at the top spot of ANYTHING. Really, 2007 QB draft class?

A dearth of good QBs in the 2007 draft class, I suppose.

How can so few people guess Chris Everett? Is it because of the phantom sack?

The number of ex-Vikings on this list is amazing, considering Minny's lack of success: Favre, Gus Frerotte, Jeff George, Randall Cunningham, Brad Johnson. And if I recall, they tried to talk Marino out of retirement ten years ago just like they did with Brett, and if only Warren Moon had been actually been drafted... Man, they loved washed up QB's don't they?

I, in fact, am a vikings fan. I am quite aware they have won lots of games in the regular season and been to the playoffs plenty of times, but they've still never won the big one, and have crushed fans' spirits in a variety of ways. And besides, all the super bowls they made were before 1980, the starting point for this quiz.

@djroars and there's a decent possibility they'll be the ones to sign McNabb this offseason. So....trend continues. LOL

@djroars. Consider which ex-Vikings we're talking about here: Favre - 2 years starting at age 39 Frerotte - 3 nonconsecutive years starting at age 33 (and didn't start until age 37) George - 1 year at age 31 Cunningham - 3 years starting at age 34 So basically, Minnesota has spent the last two decades as a retirement home for upper tier quarterbacks. Not surprising they haven't won many Super Bowls...

@ Lucian. Mccoy only started 8 games. Bradford had all 16. And who would have thought Edwards would lead the 07 class with more yards than both Quinn and Russell.

Tony freaking Banks man. Fumble city. 1996 was awful. Banks was taken in the middle of the 2nd and he was the first QB taken in that draft.

Man, you think that Aaron Rodgers would've passed Jason Campbell by now. And you'd think after that 5000 yard season Stafford would've passed Dirty Sanchez.
