Great quiz. An acceptable alternate spelling for Vanderjagt should be "our idiot kicker who got liquored up and ran his mouth off." or simply "idiot kicker".

It's embarrassing that Sid Luckman is up there despite being 60 whatever years old...but at least it's not as bad as having Vinny Testaverde as my team's all-time TD leader despite the fact that he owns another team's record too.

this is a great quiz. I have one question about it. Aren't the Ravens the former cleveland browns? and shouldn't the Browns records be based on the expansion team?

j89de - by NFL agreement, the city of Cleveland retained the Browns names and all records. For record keeping purposes the Baltimore Ravens had no history prior to moving

Anybody else here every play D? Great quiz combining all the skill positions, but maybe add a Most Sacks? Be fun to think about all the great MLBs. Enjoyable quiz, thanks.

There are few moments as awesome as typing a last name, to find it is the response to another answer you wouldn't have otherwise gotten.

something is inconsistent here...you use Oiler stats for Titans and old Browns stats for new Browns. Shouldn't those stats go into the Ravens' column? Otto Graham and Jim Brown played for the franchise that is now the Ravens....

@jcpout. I believe that when the "old" Browns were sold to the new owners of the Ravens, the Browns retained the rights to the name AND all the previous history of the "Browns". In other words, the sold the "rights" to A franchise (which became the Ravens), but KEPT the NAME and the TEAM records and then applied them to the "new" expansion franchise "Browns". Convoluted. But that's why BROWNS records stayed with the Browns. Oilers records went with the team and became Titans records, because the owners purchased the franchise lock, stock and barrel (and records!).

It is BS that the EXPANSION Cleveland Browns have the original franchise's records. Those belong with the Ravens who were formerly the Browns.

I can guess names. I'm not good a naming football players. I can pretty much hear the name and then I'll go, "Oh, yeah. that's a football player," though there are some I don't know at all.

As I recall, the Browns records were granted to the new franchise awarded to the city of Cleveland as a part of allowing Art Modell to move. The NFL basically said the logos, names, records are part of the city, not the personal property of Art Modell. I could be wrong but I don't think it was contingent on the new ownership of the Ravens. This was all done as a matter of appeasing Cleveland so that Modell could take his deal in Baltimore. The Oilers were a different story in that Bud Adams could make a greater claim to "personal property" as he was/is the original owner of the franchise. I also think personal politics played a role in Houston as then-mayor Bob Lanier hated Adams and was all too happy to tell Adams to take his ball and go.

Good quiz, but I think 15 minutes would be better. I didn't even get to the last 4 teams. And judging by how far down the likes of Warren Moon, Earl Campbell, and John Riggins fall, I'm guessing a lot of other people didn't either.

It's interesting that the Green Bay Packer's all time leading passer AND kicker are now with the Vikings and both have been instrumental in their route to the NFC Championship.
