Good idea for a quiz, but it's heresy to have HawthoRNe and not Nurse Jackie.

Okay quiz..but you should be able to type in the actual name Nip/Tuck, should be able to just type in "Quincy" for Quincy M.E. and Luke Spencer is the character - the actor is "Anthony Geary"

Kudos for including James Pritchett. I would've liked to see more of the older medical shows, like the ones with Richard Chamberlain, Robert Young, and Chad Everett.

For Nip/Tuck, Sean McNamara is the character, Dylan Walsh is the actor.

It's not taking Quincy - it's saying that Jack Klugman was in the Doctors

Somehow, Jack Klugman now says The Doctors, instead of Quincy.

Yeah, it should be Quincy, not "The Doctors". Also, where's Nurse Jackie?

Shouldve been Quincy for Jack Klugman. Not too many old shows either.

"Scrubs" should have an end date of 2009. Other possibilites: "Doctor, Doctor" (1989-91) and "Nurses" (1991-94).

I think "Nip/Tuck" is the show's proper title. You can put a "/" in a Sporcle answer by typing a "|" when you enter it. "Nip|Tuck" would show up as "Nip/Tuck" when it appeared.

The name of the quiz' contributor gave me a clue to a somewhat glaring omission..but then again, that show's probably way before his time!

Wasn't there a show back in the 70s called Emergency? It starred one of the great show biz names Randolph Mantooth. He was an ambulance driver.

I don't think Dr. Kildare, with it's 191 episodes spanning most of the 60s should be counted out...

These bonus answers, when there is no clue that in any way points to them, are getting ridiculous. That said, I agree with the above posters - way too heavily weighted toward shows that could be canceled in a month.

Finally, a quiz where there is Third Watch. One of the best shows too bad they don't show re-runs anymore they just recently stop showing them.

I see Dr Kildare and Dr Quinn have already been mentioned... also should consider "Emergency" from the 70s and the brief flop "AfterMASH"

What about that classic show from the eighties, Garth Merenghi's Darkplace? After all, it starred the brilliant Doctor Rick Dagless, M.D. and took place in a realistic hospital setting.
