If I were petty, Id rate this a 1 just because I had to type "Kotite". But, fortunately, Im not, and its a good quiz.

Stunned to see Bud Grant pop up when I typed his name near the point where time ran out. I'm assuming Bill Belichick isn't higher up because his name is a pain to spell.

livinglegend, I think it's entirely appropriate to disregard Belicheck's minutes of tenure as the Jets head coach. He resigned at or just before his introductory press conference. Besides, if there's no interim coaches, it's silly to include one that never coached a game.

Ah yes there sure were some entertaining press conferences during the Jim Mora years. The immortal "Playoffs??!!" rant as well as the day he started crying and pounding his fist against the wall when he was fired come to mind.

Technically, Chuck Studley was the then Houston Oilers interim head coach after Ed Biles and before Hugh Campbell.

Cue the "Gosh let it go. The NFL said it's all good, and they would be honest with us just like MLB players/owners and NBA refs were so quit being jealous" posts in 3,2,1...

Props to Jeff Fisher for keeping being the longest-tenured active coach and props for the Titans/Oilers for keeping him around. I always thought Mike Holmgren and Any Reid were the same person with different aliases.

If you added the interim coaches for Denver and Dallas, you should do the same for Minnesota too. Good quiz!

Terry Robiskie was an interim coach for the Cleveland Browns after Butch Davis got fired. Likewise Emmitt Thomas for the Atlanta Falcons after Bobby Petrino. If you're not including all interim coaches, you shouldn't include this year's until they get the full time gig.

I don't see how you can already have the 49ers Harbaugh and Panthers Rivera updated and not the rest of this quiz. Please make these changes: +Pat Shurmur, Cleveland +John Fox, Denver -Eric Studesville, Denver (interim) +Leslie Frasier, Minnesota +Hue Jackson, Oakland

I agree, some of these guys haven't even coached a game yet, so technically they probably shouldn't be added yet until they have coached a game. Yet, Leslie Frazier is missing, he was hired full time after finishing the season as the interim head coach.
