I'm really enjoying these quizzes. The one suggestion I have for this one is to change the hint for DP. I understand where you are getting at for this one, but I just think it's a weak hint compared to the other hints in the quiz.

Kind of sad that only such a small percentage got a hero like MacArthur.

I love these quizzes. It might be worthing noting in the clue for Senator Inouye that, in addition to being the 2nd oldest current senator, he is also the most senior senator and president pro tempore of the senate, since the death of Robert Byrd.

It took me a while to get DM. I didn't realize he was a Medal of Honor winner. If you'd used the "I shall return" quote about the Philippines, it would have been a no brainer.

Danny DeVito, David Sedaris and Dwight Yoakam all in the same quiz? You've made me a very happy Sporcler tonight, Ben.

Win for Dweezil Zappa. Couldn't remember MacArthur's first name though.

Dweezil? Blimey if that isn't cruelty to children, nothing is!

bumbles: it could be worse. Dweezil's siblings are Moon Unit, Ahmet Emuukha Rodan and Diva Thin Muffin Pigeen. Seriously. Diva Thin Muffin Pigeen Zappa. You'd have to be Frank Zappa's kid to pull that one off.

Can you accept "Deng Xiaopeng"? That's how I've always seen his Romanicized name spelled out.

"He MAY be best known for playing Harry Potter on the big screen"? I'd argue that FAR more people recognize him from his role as "Mark" in 2001's "The Tailor of Panama."

@Phillyfan362: Accepting last names only kind of defeats the concept of this type of quiz. I didn't do very well on this one, but I do like these quizzes. Maybe someday I'll learn how to spell Dan AYkroyd's name. I always forget that first "y".

DX is off. "Deng" is his family name, "Xiaoping" (not Xiaopeng, that's wrong) is his given name. I guess you could technically accept it, but it throws off everything, since everyone else is formatted the opposite way

You can't mock the Zappa kids for having funny names, because they had a musical genius for a father. FZ ruled.

Ahh see as a brit I saw DT and just thought Alan Sugar (I now know it's a spinoff, but I don't really watch some TV so cut me some slack). I did rubbish, but I'm not American, which accounts for about 2/3 of what I missed I think...

When I got to DZ, I figured, "Oh, the last name is Zappa. I'll just try a bunch of 'D' names with it and maybe I'll get it right." Boy, was I ever wrong.

I tried so many different spellings of Inouye and didn't manage to come up with the right one. And I can't believe I missed Debbie Gibson -- I was only thinking of guys, for some reason. Also I thought it was spelled Dweezle. Oops.
